    30-Yard Challenge

You inspired me to adjust the trigger on mine and maaaaan, it's nice after adjusting it. My crosshairs used to pull slowly down as I squeezed the trigger and I think that contributes to misplaced shots. Thank you for the inspiration, it is phenomenal now.

Brocock/BRK My experience with first PCP

Ok, holy crap! I decided that I wanted to adjust the trigger pull weight. I feel like that's the one thing that is limiting. When I go to pull the trigger, I can see the crosshairs slowly coming down before the shot breaks and I think that can contribute to flyers or misplaced shots. After...

I think I'd be alright with that pull weight. Did you adjust it to 1.5lbs or did it come that way from the factory? Very sweet setup

Awesome card! How light is the trigger on your Sniper XR? I've been thinking about lightening mine up if I can.

    Hostage rescue quickie

Here's a fun and cheap target idea. If you're anything like me, I can't focus and have good fundamentals for more than one target card, maybe 2. I found a deck of cards that has tiny clubs, hearts, spades, and diamonds. These measure at roughly .25"x .34". Try not to kill the hostage. A clean...

    30-Yard Challenge

I would say this is how benchrest shooters do it. Waiting for your condition instead of trying to shoot through serval conditions. Cool thing about this is we aren't on a time limit like actual benchrest competition.

Brocock/BRK My experience with first PCP

They're expensive comparatively, but they shoot good! I was reading the user manual and the gun is actually tuned to the Rangemaster King 25.38 gr pellet. Interestingly though, Airguns of Arizona tested and recommended the JSB 18.13s. Having shot both pellet weights, this gun preferres both...

Brocock/BRK My experience with first PCP

I've thought about grabbing an Edgun peazy with a 580cc bottle. Seems like a good refill option to go in a backpack and go with you. Haven't tried the CPHPs yet. Did some extensive testing with the AEA 21.9s and I think I've come to the conclusion that they just aren't up to par. Even when...

Brocock/BRK My experience with first PCP

Somewhere around 145 shots or so. Which is nice and now that I've had experience with filling it up, I don't think I could do something like an FX DRS with a lower shot count.

    Group shape

There are a lot of factors to consider for sure. Another thing I forgot to mention when determining what your best pellet is is mean radius. I think that goes along with group shape and dispersion. I do agree that other variables can and must be tweaked.

    Group shape

I am new to PCP airgun shooting, but have an interesting thought that translates from powder burner reloading and tuning. From what I've noticed just shooting the one PCP I have, you have control over a few things to make the gun shoot like you want. Regulator pressure, hammer spring tension...

    Clip on thermal attachment options

I have a Brocock Sahara XR that I want to run a thermal clip on with. Is there any aftermarket solutions for rail mounting or would the clip on need to attach to the scope objective?

How do you guys decide which pellet to run with if you have a few that shoot well?

Brocock/BRK My experience with first PCP

Sorry if this is getting redundant, but I'm a tinkerer and I can't leave things alone. If anything, hopefully this can be a reference for someone to look at. I decided to just try 8 shot groups with each pellet to test and rule out the worst groups. I also felt like I was more in tune with the...

Brocock/BRK My experience with first PCP

Grabbed some AEA pellets and JTS 25.39s. This was very eye opening to me bc up to this point, whatever I fed the Sahara XR, it shot pretty well. It did not like the AEA 25.3 gr pellets. It did ok with the JTS 25.39. I shot 20 rounds of each just to make sure. The AEA 21.9 and 18.3 did a lot...

    30-Yard Challenge

Just as a PSA and probably bc I can be an idiot sometimes, make sure to check the format when you print these targets. There's a nice measurement reference on the paper to confirm the proper printed size. I'm sure this has been discussed already, but wanted to mention it.
