Relatively old thread, I know, but this link has refurbed Daisy M853's for $125 and 753S's for $210. Good price for newbies. I would go with the 853 and just add the Gamo sights equivalent later for newbies. A lot of JROTC's use these. Parts are easy to get, they're pumps so cheap to operate...
