Thank you for the sage advice. You're right. I've avoided the fill probe for no other real reason except that I've read others say that it's problematic. I do like saving money too, where I can. I do appreciate your help in overcoming this whole thing with your excellent insight!

Fill probes are just another thing that I might forget when going to the range or the field and though I've never lost one yet that might be because I've never had a pcp that used one.

I watched a video of someone shooting the Altaros slugs at 100 yards. Those groups were very tight and the guy was saying that there are never any flyers with them. I don't recall if the barrel was CZ or LW, but that was probably the best slug groups that I've ever seen.

OP, is this little guy still attached to your EVOL .30 or have you moved on?
