I bought a 30 caliber to hunt ground squirrels. My hunting buddy shoots a 30 caliber and the squirrels usually die before reaching their holes. Last year I was using a 22 caliber and lots of them are able to crawl back in their hole. So that’s my rationale.

I have a RAW Hm1000x. It’s a loud gun. My old Donny fl tanto did not suffice. I went with the Impulse Air 1350 with an extra baffle and that quieted it down considerably.

I just sold my Aselkon Ravello for about half price and by the time I paid ship fees I didn’t end up with much left. I am happy it’s gone. Took it apart many times and replaced some of the orings but never quit leaking. Being from Turkey and no support, I’m glad I don’t have to deal with it again.

I’m a trapshooter and that is the venue where release triggers are used the most. It’s very effective at negating the flinch. Some trapshooters and skeet shooters develop a flinch from recoil and a release trigger seems to allow normal shooting without the flinch.

Yea I’m learning about pcps still. I have had the Aselkon apart about 3 or 4 times hoping it was just the o rings leaking. Your asesement really helped and the next time it comes apart I’m going to tackle the regulator removal. So do you replace the rubber donut with hard plastic to seal it ?
