Question: I need to ship my FX Impact Mk 3 to a new buyer across the country. Do I need to drain all the pressure out of the gun and bottle for shipping?

Oh - I see you were asking someone else. That comment refers to the Webly senior photos I posted.

The white is just chalk I rubbed in so the lettering was more visible in the photos. It will wipe right out.

FWB Original FWB 300 in the box

Here is an update on my FWB 300: At the request of an ebay user, I did a chronograph today to make sure seals etc were all good. Here are the results on a string of 10 RWS match pellets - 7.0 grain. Here are the velocity figures. (Factory original claims 640 fps, so not bad for 52 years old!)...

OK, thank you for that info. i guess we learn something new every day. Being in the states, we do not see many Webeley pistols.

    N/A Question regarding Webely Senior

From my research and the serial number, this is a slant grip new model from 1935 with a serial number of 8xxx. The "white lettering" is just chalk I rubbed in to make the lettering more visible. The blueing is pretty shiny, it may be just the lighting when I photographed it. Or maybe the blueing...

You mention "or even better attending airgun shows" - could you tell me if you know of any airgun shows coming up on the west coast anytime soon?

FWB Original FWB 300 in the box

And BTW: I wasn't looking for an offer. I have collected 36 airguns over my long life, but I am old now, and broke my back a couple years ago so I can no longer get around. I have never sold an airgun before, and haven't ever really concerned myself with values, it was just a passion and a hobby...

FWB Original FWB 300 in the box

Are the values listed in the Blue Book accurate as to what can be expected for a gun to sell for, or are they just kinda general guidlines? How often is it updated? I was reading posts about people getting older paper copies and the online version being too expensive. Is it worth looking for an...

FWB Original FWB 300 in the box

I have been hanging on to this new in the box FWB 300 for many years. I had a letter from the factory some years back saying this was perhaps the very last full size FWB 300 to be manufactured in 1972 before the smaller FWB 300S came out. If not the last one, it was at least manufactured during...

    N/A Question regarding Webely Senior

I have a Webely Senior I picked up in a pawn shop, in the original box. From the serial number it was built in 1935, 89 years ago! This one is in nearly as new condition, it must have just sat in someone's drawer for the last 9 decades. I am wondering how rare these pistols are and what they...

    Introducing myself here

I'm new to this thread. My name is John, I'm 68 years old and I have been a highend airgun freak for over 50 years. From back in the day of Air Gun Headquarters in West Virginia, if anyone remembers them. I have amassed quite a collection of airguns over the years. Mostly springers, but also a...
