N/A Where can I find a coil spring or type 2 gas piston for a frankenstein project?

Budget Hatsan Zada. No plans in the works now. Mine is new from box and shoots well. Just want a spare spring and piston seal. And trying to find a piston seal is becoming a real nightmare. Even Hatsan does not have the Zada size. May have to make something. Much prefer modern synthetic over...

N/A Where can I find a coil spring or type 2 gas piston for a frankenstein project?

Sorry if I posted in the wrong forum. Just having a hard time finding anyone but such and such *Insert Company Here* That's all fine. But I am looking for other sources. As more is better. So share some links. I also need help on having a custom piston seal made for an air rifle. Or any DIY...

AEA AEA SF .30 another "talk me out of"

Well dang. I like my present plan of hopefully stockpile3 2-3 Hatsan Zada air pellet rifles. In the mean time for the next year. I pay off some debt and live with my $300 in air rifles. Hopefully I can find a refurbished .25 or preferably .30 single shot AEA Texan compact. Single shot. Built for...

AEA AEA SF .30 another "talk me out of"

In my case. I ended up with a $550 headache if you add the finance charge. Get a reputable company. And if possible. Find something that you can get an entire PCP air riflerebuild kit. Easy as possible. Ask some of the members here for advice and recommendations. Hope you find what you want.

AEA AEA SF .30 another "talk me out of"

One day I will buy off Umarex again. I like their Gauntlet ll in .30 and .35. Hard to stay mad for too long. Some of Umarex's stuff is top notch. (y)(y)

AEA AEA SF .30 another "talk me out of"

I did not know that until now. I gave it to a Good red head Irish man so he could teach himself and his kiid safe shooting skills for beginners. So I am pretty happy to know I may have turned someone on to air rifle shooting. I pretty much am of the sound mind that if I get an air rifle. I want...

AEA AEA SF .30 another "talk me out of"

I won't buy from Umarex. Bought a $329 Origin 18 months ago. Found out I could not find O ring and rebuild kits for it anywhere. Called Umarex. Umarex told me it was discontinued. And basically tough luck on an O ring kit. The point I am making here is to not so much look at the newest fluff...

    Is airgun interest going away?

I gave thought to buying a piston conversion kit. And keeping it for back up. I need a Vortex type 2. The next break barrel I want is a nicer mid price $300 - $500 upper budget range.

    Is airgun interest going away?

Why I chose a disposable economy break barrel. Yeah no cheap air pellet rifle gonna compete with a $1,200 Diana. But can a $1,200 Diana compete with a $130 Hatsan with about 4 rebuild kits and a better scope? Invest about $100 to $300 in work on mods and 2 rebuild kits. A budget air rifle serves...

Hatsan Zada is what I picked up today.

I got to get a barrel cleaner rod and some specific air gun tools. I won't fire it until I get a way to clean the barrel.

Hatsan Zada is what I picked up today.

Scope upgrade from factory scope .to 4x32 Variable yardage ring. Barska scope. And nice laser etched logo of the Zada.

Hatsan Zada is what I picked up today.

The first thing I did was tighten all screws in the stock, mount, and rail. Inspected barrel. Nice rifle bore detail. No rust. Stout spring. Stock is surprisingly solid. However the front forked by the greak barrel ares could be a bit stiffer. Scope mounting weaver rings was a bit testy on my...

Hatsan Opinions on buying a cheap Hatsan springer and modifying it vs buying higher end Hatsan.

That's my plan. Learning as I go. I find it worth investing another $200 in the Hatsan Zada down the road just in rebuild parts. The more I think about it.The more determined I am to pull this off. And buy about 4-6 cheap rebuild kits or second hand Hatsans I can gut on Ebay. This would be a...

Hatsan Opinions on buying a cheap Hatsan springer and modifying it vs buying higher end Hatsan.

Could you show me a buyer link please? I tried to look up Fenix and could not find a USA seller. Or price range. Simplicity is what won me over. In a SHTF scenario. I could stock pile a dozen pellet tins. This would work well for small game. And even a cheaper model for like a $120 Hatsan Zada...
