Perhaps the "only" advantage of this method compared to other, let's say, more traditional methods (i.e. the use of plumb line, bubble level, mirror method, etc.) is the time savings.

It seems that Magpul's fixed buttstocks (PRS Gen III and LIte) are designed for tall, long-armed people. Roughly measured, directly on my arm, my LOP is about 31 centimeters (about 12 1/4"). I've heard that a little longer is fine but maybe 2" is too much. I don't know how much it might affect...
