    Umarex Notos Bolt Probe Alignment

I agree with this. I have marked the video posted by @Avator where you need to pay attention closely. At the first time index (2:30 to 2:35) note the little shim washer that falls out as he is removing the cocking lever. Note the second time index (5:18 to 5:27) when he is re-assembling to put...

    Umarex Notos cocking got gritty

Get Molly and grease it. It's simple enough to do and may save you hours of time diagnosing the problem. With the help of @Tim23 , that's what solved it for me. Anytime it starts to feel "sticky" or "gritty", Molly gets applied. Haven't had an issue since doing this.

Umarex Bolt and boltprope siezed up

Read this thread. The same thing may be happening here as this thread deals with another Umarex. https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/notos-cocking-got-gritty.1320171/#post-1928354

    Thank you AGN members

I'd like to join @airgunutty in expressing thanks to all here as well. He said it perfectly, couldn't do a better job if I tried. So, thank you, @airgunutty, members - one and all.

    EDgun Leshiy 2 Question

I just received my Leshiy 2 9mm. I purchased mine less than a month ago, so I have the latest and greatest. That said, I opine the following. To get the options you indicate, you have to use an authorized dealer that carries all options. You can get a Leshiy 2 from places that do not have all...

    Pellet question

You're welcome. Please post here your eval of the sizer. I'd be very interested in what you think and as important, how and why you use it / them.

Maybe damaged is too strong a word, disformed, or malformed may be better. Here's an example

    Pellet question

No I haven't done that yet. I'll do that the next time I go shooting. I'll have to intentionally damage pellets. Hopefully it won't skew the results. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Pellet question

When ordering from non-airgun related sources, they don't usually go through the pains of packaging that helps prevent your pellets from damage i.e. the Amazon website. I've done this in the past. When opening the pellet tins, a lot of the pellets were out-of-round (is the best way I can...

    Umarex Notos cocking got gritty

Agree on their instructions. Maybe I'll reply to Umarex to tell them it's been corrected, not by following their instructions, but following the suggestions here on Airgun Nation and they should pat attention to what the community is saying and change their instructions accordingly. Who knows...

    Umarex Notos cocking got gritty

The Liqui-Moly arrived. But first, I heard from Umarrex. I responded and am waiting to hear back. I applied the Moly, basically everywhere. The result is, everything is working. And, that just blows my mind. All of that said, I do have gouging present as a result of what happened. I'm hoping...

    Umarex Notos cocking got gritty

Mine grabs a bit earlier than what I saw on yours. Regardless, for $12, it's worth a shot. I just ordered and it will arrive tomorrow. @Tim23 where exactly did you put the moly?

    Umarex Notos cocking got gritty

Just another note, there is a bolt that screws into what we're calling the firing pin. If you place an allen key into that bolt, push down and attempt to slide the cocking lever, it will slide smoothly back and forth. At least mind does. Remove the pressure and it jams instantly again. I tried...

    Umarex Notos cocking got gritty

I agree it's not the hammer or spring. Mine jams even when that is removed. It may have to do with the pins they use to hold the lever to the firing pin (I assume the rod that pushes the pellet into the breach is called the firing pin). they seem to scrape the frame internally. I can see the...

    Umarex Notos cocking got gritty

"when trying to cock 1/2 way through the cycle it started feeling gritty" "that little pin in the cocking lever works its way up and skins the screw holes" "now it gets to the point where it just wont budge" All of the above happened to me. Friday evening was out shooting and the gritty cocking...

    Filling a 100cu inch tank?

A little cautious, sure. but not as elaborate as what; is shown in the image <grin> (That's a bit of overkill). I do use this though since it's low phosphate (PH) as recommended. Coolant I use (recommended by someone, can't remember who) The GS4 is expensive so not easily replaced, which...
