I haven’t had much squirrel activity on my trail cams since this cold snap. I don’t think they are active right now and I can’t blame them. I’ve noticed this happens usually when it dips below 20 (roughly). When it warms up they’ll be back. I’m in northern NJ.

Is your SS still quite loud even though it’s supposed to be the quietest Texan? I’m interested in buying one since I heard it was the quietest big bore.

My first air rifle was a Hammerli 850 in .22. Super reliable, accurate and fun. Great for getting into plinking and pesting. Nice mods you did.

Your Hammerli looks great. Who did the HPA conversion? I have the original Hammerli 850 (not M2) in .22 I would be interested in having this done. Thanks.
