    DonnyFl Clipping issues

Ahh, so there is some built in gap, I wondered about that. Is the .3125 the same then on both .22 and .25 mods?

Other Stoeger XM1 Ranger and Scout are AWESOME

Thank you! Is it a good idea to order the next cal up?

Other Stoeger XM1 Ranger and Scout are AWESOME

Now I don't want to get anybody's feathers all ruffled as a "new" guy here . . . . has anyone tried an aluminum moderator on one of these Scout models? I'm trying to iron out some of this and make one or two purchases with most of what I'll need. I like the idea of a metal that will last longer...

In my experience, it is like throwing knives . . . . it's mostly all about a measured distance.

Some but only the slip fit tomahawks. It hurts when you split a handle that you spent hours hand fitting.

Hahaha yeah, I've only got 24 of that pattern. It's truely a sickness. I know guys though that have 100's of em

Stoeger Leaning to the XM1 Scout

Thanks for that link MongooseV8. Now my head hurts, but it's getting a little better. Sounds like a real science project. Once you guys get set for a certain load, do you leave everything alone? Seems like a lot of work. Does running the gun at a lower reg prx save wear on the parts or not really?

Stoeger Leaning to the XM1 Scout

I've watched vids showing 873fps with 18gr pellet = 30fpe. Does that ring true for what you guys are seeing? Seems pretty respectable from a shorty barrel, with plenty of power to knock down small critters. As long as I have enough reg prx to push heavy pellets fast enough to keep the delivered...

Stoeger Leaning to the XM1 Scout

Thanks much! I did see a post from Airgun Revisions and checked out his site. I was impressed and I'd rather support someone with ties to the sport for sure!

Stoeger Leaning to the XM1 Scout

New to PCP guns, but learning a ton. I'm getting closer to deciding on what gun to buy. I'm down to the Avenge-x carbine and the XM1 Scout, both in .22. My shooting will be more in line with pest control inside 50yds with occasional longer shots. I like the idea of having ability to make...

True enough. I started buying axes a few years back . . . . I've got over 200 now. Definitely taking my time with this purchase.

Thanks much, that XM1 Scout looks interesting, wish it had the baffled end like the bullshark, but looks like it could be a winner. I've got a couple Stoeger/Benelli scatterguns. Never had any need for warranty work but that warranty sure takes some of the fear out if they'll stand behind it.

    Greetings from the PNW

FNG here from the wet side of Washington. My history with airguns is quite a way back. I’ve been super shocked at where we are at now. Trying to catch up is like drinking from a fire hose. Not much of a bench rest guy. I’m really looking to nail a few squirrels to keep them from nesting and...
