Is there a significant noise difference between these two pistols?

Do you guys who own the 717, 747, 777 prefer .22 cal or .177 cal for 10-15 meter plinking? I also wonder how big the difference is regarding the trigger between these models. I will try to find one here in Europe, but not sure if I should wait until one of the less common higher end models...
