FWB 50 MM or 400 mm scope?

I prefer 40mm, even on my centerfire rifles.

Acceptable average 20 yd springer accuracy??

^^This^^. My TX sometimes sits for weeks or even months. It's important to me for it to shoot where I'm looking the first shot, it does. You never know when a sparrow will invade my bluebird boxes.

Acceptable average 20 yd springer accuracy??

The "ten dimes challenge" target shot with 5 shots on each target is a pretty good indicator of what you and your rifle are capable of.

FWB Am I the only one who can't shoot a FWB 124...?

My friend that got me started in air guns and vintage 22 target rifles said he had a 124 many years ago and never could get it to shoot.

N/A What " One gun " to buy

All of my hobbies are expensive, fishing, hot rods, powder burners and air rifles. The vortek kit is like making the hot rod faster, it's just an added little cost to the hobby. The bottom line, we're all air gun enthusiasts, no matter what our choices of power supplies are. Enjoy.

N/A What " One gun " to buy

My TX200 has a Vortek kit in it, there is no buzz or felt vibration on the shot, just a whack. How do gas rams do in cold weather?

N/A What " One gun " to buy

Depends, higher power I'd buy my TX200 in .177 again. Lower power, FWB 300S, I smile every time I pick one of mine up.

N/A Does anything compare Tx or HW

I started with a Diana 48 in .22, talk about a steep learning curve, LOL. Then a Diana 34 in .177 and finally a LH TX200 in .177. The 48 was sold and the 34 rarely gets used as it will shoot great for several shots then drop one 8-10". It's been apart several times, but I've found nothing...

I thought we were talking about springers.

    Diana Springer Pistols

I have a FWB 80, from a bag it'll shoot tiny groups at 10M, off hand is a different story, LOL. To shoot well offhand I have to shoot every day, even then it takes a couple weeks for me to get consistent.

    N/A Springer Accuracy?

I have a TX200 that shoots very well, unfortunately I don't shoot it enough to keep me in tune. Also, I don't expect the same accuracy out of the TX that I do my 300's. Apples to oranges IMHO.

    N/A Getting fed up

Me too. I kept my Diana 34 in .177 and AA LH TX 200. Honestly, if I'm going to pack something around it'll probably be one of my lighter .22 rimfires. I'm almost 63, still fit and healthy but have no desire to pack around a 9-12 lb rifle. I have nothing to prove anymore.

    N/A Getting fed up

Have you considered a 48? I had one in .22 and it was a hammer but was no fun to tote around.

Other If you were to run out of air,

I love my AA TX 200 in .177, a beautiful, accurate rifle.

Installed the new steel PG4 Vortek HO tune kit in my TX200.

I've been running a Vortek PG4 HO kit in my TX200 for almost two years, no issues at all.

    FWB FWB 300S

I had three 300S's, all in LH stocks but put one in a RH stock and sold it last year. Fantastic rifles, I smile every time I shoot them.

    HW/Weihrauch Peeps Open My Eyes

I like aperture sights and shoot them on my vintage Winchester 52's and 40X. Also on my 300's and 601. I bought an adapter that Anschutz made to use Redfield sights. I've used it on air rifles and sporter rimfires.
