From the vids I have seen of .177 used at long ranges 150yds or more they all used 700mm and no length wont be an issue. Just something about wacking a starling at 150yds with a .177 slugs that I would love to do...

That is .177?? If so that is exa the data I’m looking for. According to what I’ve heard a 700mm in .177 will only reduce FPS and provide no additional accuracy.

Which would you prefer and why ? Trying to decide on the length of my new .177 slugger! I’ve heard a few ppl say 700mm is too long for a .177.

All larger calibers benefit from a longer barrel? So what I’m hearing is the .177 is too small to allow continued acceleration the full length of a 700mm barre? So a 600mm barrel is preferred or just adequate for the task?

That would be my perspective as well a gun with enough power would benefit from the longer barrel.

Not sure on the length of the Redwolf but FX makes 700mm in a few different styles of guns for .177.

Yes I’m aware of that, I love my FXs and my BRK. Owned a Daystate Huntsman for a while and wasn’t impressed. The Redwolf sounds like a step above though

I’ve heard the Redwolf mentioned several times in this conversation. I have no doubt it’s an amazing wpn but wow that price tag !!!
