I just mounted a SWFA 10X42 MOA Quad Reticle on my RWS Model 54. Amazing! SWFA told me in an e-mail that the scope was springer rated, so I purchased it. My 54 had broken two lesser scopes before this. So far, so good. I also added the Model 54TH muzzle brake.

Personally, I purchase the manufacturers recomended lube for my RWS mdl 54. I did "tune" a "Beeman" RS2 though; Heavy black tar grease on the spring, Moly paste on the piston (sparingly) and RWS Air Chamber Lube. I did this for practice, it was my first time. However, the spring did quiet down...

I have a bid in on a Beeman Pell Seat cat# 7200. I hope I win. I have always wanted one. My groups at this point are great with some pellets, some not so much.
