0.22 217 DIY Slug

Does anyone have the measurements of a 0.22 217 slug mold or a slug I'm new to this, I want to make a slug,

They will have different lengths depending on how you make it. Swaging can have a deep hollowpoint and concave base. Poured lead can have a shallow hollowpoint and flat base. Need ideas of how you plan to make your slug to begin with.

That is a 5.5 slug mold. It's the longest slug mold I know of in 5.5.

Noe is the only one that I've found that makes a mold for airguns besides mp molds but you need a powerful airgun to shoot them IMHO.

Another option is swaging your slugs. More expensive, but more precision.
I am seriously considering going that route....

You don't really need a press. I just used a soft face mallet to tap on the push rod to push the slug through the sizing bushing.

Don't even need a mallet. I push them through by hand onto a rubber pad.

The mold diagrams with dimensions linked to will work fine for cutting a mold. You can change the od dimensions slightly as needed. Many slugs are designed so that the nose dimension rides the bore while the rear driving band rides the groove. It has been my experience that a driving band 0.001” smaller than groove diameter performs quite well.
