1 Benjamin Maximus, 2 squirrels, 3 minutes!!!

So have squirrels trying to get back into the attic after eaves repair. This has to stop. The Benjamin Maximus in .177 was ready for the call. Used JSB Hades 10.34gr and Daystate Howlers in 12.6gr. Only have like 22 of those loose left so no can for the pic.

Zeroed it yesterday after getting a tin of the JSBs from another member here on trade. They are dead on at 20 meters the Howlers however hit a little higher but still top of circle bullseye. So GTG for me.

First one was about 13 meters out per the range finder up in a tree. Lined it up for a head shot and on impact, he did the one hand branch hang on thing before falling to the ground dead. But i noticed like 4 or 5 squirrels reacted and either ran up a tree or into the brush.

But one was nosey and he was about 22 meters and decided to use the Howlers. Hit like a thud to the vutals since a broadside shot was presented. He did the rear feet kick clap in the air a few times then expired.

Will see if the others come back. If so, the "Maxo" will be waiting for them.

@BlkAirRiflemanOfGA .177s demand accuracy. Nicely done with your Maximus. Do you have tree branches that hang over or close to your roof?

Yeah that's the crazy part. Lots of pine trees in the front and back but nothing directly over the roof. So I'm a little perplexed how they are getting up there. Can they climb brick? I dunno.

I have seen Grey's ( invasive here in the UK ) Scurry across the wall of my red brick garage, so probably.

A pellet through the ticker ( or head ) effects their climbing abilities.

Do they reach the pot?.

Thanks for showing.

Yeah makes sense then. The trees from what I can see are too far from th e room. Maybe the drainage gutters I dunno. Either way if , the Maxo has to be pressed into duty it's more than capable. Do they reach the pot? Not sure what you're asking here can you clarify?

Someone posted a picture of one scaling a window screen. That irked me to no end!! They can jump too. So if a tree branch is close enough… Good luck keeping them off of your roof.

"Do they reach the pot" means do you cook them after pesting them?

Ahh yes my aunt will gut and clean them before soaking them in a season water overnight. She'll most likely grill them I suppose.
