10" LW .22 bbl for 2240XL

I have a 2240XL withe stock 7" barrel. For a stock Crosman barrel it's really not that bad, but I want a little more. So I'm looking to buy a 10" .22 LW barrel, but I want one with a 1/2"UNF adapter out front. Anyone have a sources for something like this?

im sure someone could machIne one for you and barrels are available direct from lothar walther ... as an option, donnyfl has slip on adapters for say 10mm etc which would simplify making the barrel .. cutting external threads good isnt in everyone that uses a lathes skill set ..

I'm kinda looking for a plug and play option. The Crosman 10" LW barrels are only like $50 - hopefully something with the adapter for $70-80 would make me happy. Don't think is worth the cost of dealing with LW barrel blanks.

I like! Last one I ordered a couple months back was 14.5" from crosman thmselves. ~$65 with shipping. Took 6 months of calling as stock was a bit messed up from the pandemic

I have another that is cut down and re-choked to 7.6" Sadly the fellow who did it for me is no longer with us. I dont know of anyone currently who would do that.

As for an adapter, if you want it as part of the barrel, I don't know who would do that either. Mountain air will make you a custom barrel, but will not cut threads. Also, the barrel would have to be a lot thicker to accomodate this. The slip on adapters are the way to go.... Or just get a slip on mod from TKO and call it a day.

You could be right - I think that was the Crosman custom shop's LW barrel upgrade price.

If you call crosman with the appropriate part number they will cost about $50 assuming they will sell you one.

Typically Crosman will only sell barrels to you if you have bought a gun from their custom shop, but I think it depends a little on who answers the phone. Last I talked to them, they told me they wouldn't sell the Lothar barrels separately. Hopefully, that has changed, but I doubt it with the demand that Lothar Walther is under.

The DonnyFL Benjamin adapter will slip right on the barrel and give you the option to mount a front sight if you wanted. I use a Williams 70105 on mine. The .875” TKO allows me to use iron sights which is what I prefer on a pistol.
