$100 or less magnum.springer scope?

Is it a unicorn or does one exist' I've looked into the Zero Recoil mounts but the reviews are favorably to the negative side. I can machine it to tighter tolerances but to me that seems like putting a bandaid on a knife wound.

Looking for something that will get down to around 4X and up to at least 12X. I have the RWS lockdown mount with 1" rings. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!

I use the HAMMERS scope from Amazon. There are several power ranges available, I have only first hand knowledge of their magnum springer rated 3-9x40AO scope. Last one I bought was under 60.00.

How long have you had that? Tough to beat $60

I've also had very good results with a Hammers scope. I have a Hammers 3-9x32AO scope mounted on an HW95 for about 3 months now. I've probably put over 700 pellets through the rifle with the scope on and the scope continues to hold its zero. Hammers claims the scopes are magnum springer rated.

The scope also came with a nice one piece mount that has a stop pin. The price was $65.00 so it's in your price range.

What kind of distances do you normally shoot with that scope? What's the furthest that you would confidently hunt squirrel with?

BeeGee11, I normally shoot my air rifles anywhere from 15 to 50yrds. Although I've used this scope to shoot at one gallon water jugs out to 90yrds just for fun and it worked just fine.

The paralex (I know I did not spell that right) adjustment on the objective lense works very well at either close or long distance.

This Hammers scope would work just fine for your squirrel hunting. The max distance for use of this scope for squirrel hunting would depend on your rifle and your marksmenship.

I will be trying some Centerpoint 1 inch front focus AO 4-16x40AO illuminated scopes on springers soon. At least they have a lifetime warranty and got a handful of these to soon be mounted on magnum Springers based on favorable magnum Springer success reviews.

I am not pushing these scopes for optical quality since they are well below average optically and just for spring gun tests hopefully they last.

For the $50 which was the half off price I paid including shipping apiece I really shouldn't complain.

Second thought probably may have been been better off with the nicer JAPAN MADE BARRA for $100 make offer at eBay with NO WARRANTY at least those got great glass and same 10 yard focus (even better yet side focus 30mm).

Where did you get the Centerpoint for $50?

I went with the Hammers 4-12X40, should be here next Thursday. Man I've gotten so spoiled with Amazon Prime shipping that normal ship times are so frustrating 😅

Good luck with your new Hammers scope. I hope you like it as much as I like mine.

I know what you mean by being spoiled by Amazon prime shipping. Years ago before the internet when I was a kid I would have to order a catalog through the mail to by something. Once the catalog got here I would then have to send a check with the order form. When they finnaly got the check and filled the order they would mail it out. It usually would take weeks.

I had one of these Tasco scopes on my Parrus and it lasted about 300 shots before the reticle let loose. I actually bought wtwo of them, and put on an an old RWS24 that I have. In addition the the reticle failure on the Parrus I also noticed the the focus ring ion both scopes was pretty sloppy in the threads and allow the ring to move around enough to move the POI a half inch at 10 yards. I was able to shim it to solve that problem, then the reticle failed. Luckily I bought them on Amazon an was able to return it for a full refund.

I had this one on the Parrus:

It's a nice scope, I did like it. I don't know much about quality scopes but at $50ish this one I would think would be tough to beat......if not on a magnum springer. It is accurate and held adjustment well and the lit up reticle is nice.

Right now I'm using this one:

My use with it is still very little with only a few dozen shots so far. Time will tell, but so far I like it. I do miss the illuminated reticle.
