100 yard pellet Benchrest which rig?

Newbie to bench rest here.

Was researching bench rest rigs (cos that's where all the big prize money is).

Specifically 100 yards pellet bench rest competition. Couldn't find any clear winners. Looks like a hefty investment when you add it all up (rifle, scope, tank, compressor? pellets, wind flags, rifle rest etc). Hoping to pay for quality. Pay once and cry once.

If you had to do it all over again. Which rifle and scope would you get? What caliber? (I know there are pros and cons. please list them to justify your decision)

FX? Red Panda? Skout? Daystate?

Sightron? Leupold? Weaver? March?

Well at the current time 30 cal is being used a lot because of the .07 bc pellets you can get, 25 cal being slightly less popular and 22 being least popular because of the inconsistent 25.39 pellets. Guns are a toss to barrel lottery and me personally i like athlon scopes. If you start down this hole you’ll be at the will of the pellet mfg’s and the barrel mfg’s as in the last few years things are changing rapidly. Me personally i have a 25 ghost.

I have an impact m3,and a panthera both in 30 caliber set up for bench rest. I shoot the panthera the most, almost twice as much as my impact. Both are sub moa guns and don't know which is most accurate. They both surprise me each time I shoot them. Both have shoot nickle size 5 shot groups at hundred yards.

Thank you for the response.
So the information out there about FX thin barrels are just noise and non-issue for most?
Its all luck of the draw and how good a tuner you are and how good a shot you are. You might buy a fx and love it or hate it. If your not a tuner id buy a daystate or brk or raw or maybe a panda and stay away from electronics till you gain experience.
Learning to read and shoot in the wind will moat likely get you higher scores than what gun or pellet your using to start.

I have a chair full of liners to shoot different stuff. None are unaccurate. Not one,nor have I ever had one that was unaccurate. I do polish my liners cause it helps with not having to clean them as much and may help them be more accurate, reason I say may is because I never had one that was unaccurate. I hear rumors. Any body out that has an unaccurate fx liner,I'd like a chance to shoot it. I more believe people are trying to shoot stuff way to fast then blaming the liners. I have 30 caliber tj barrels in 30 caliber. 26in and 28 inch. Liners are just as accurate, but some liners are mad3 for pellets only. They mean that. Where as the tj barrels will shoot both pellets and slugs . If a person use a liner as it's designed for,it's accurate.

@ Hunter25 don’t know why you have me blocked but it is what it is and i won’t comment on your post don’t want to hurt your feelings. So you know i have a m3 and 6 or 8 barrels for it
Here's my number if you have something to say to me ,far as I know,I don't have anybody block,I don't think this is the place to talk to each other, this guy's wanting info about guns,I'm giving him facts. If you want to communicate with me,there my number ,I'm all ears for your idea of what makes pellets go thru the same hole at 100 yards.

Ahhh, now you're going to get a ton of calls about your automobile warranty that is about to expire. Type out the numbers.

Smitty
They already call me all the time. Most people who know me send a text telling me they are calling, then I answer. I don't know how to take the numbers out.

Someone suggested

Skout (seems they have a new super accurate barrel?)
Sightron

Anyone one running either of those rigs?
Luke @Skout runs a .30 SubMOA barrel on his Evo ..the really bright/shiney silver one
There are a few on Team Centercut that have the SubMOA barrels
I am using a .22 LW Bull Barrel on my Epoch with very good results

It is what you do with the rifle after it is purchased that going to make the difference on the line
the polishing, the adjustments, the fine tuning, the gear, the pellet testing..the time ..having a top rifle doean't hurt, but it doesn't mean you use it and win right away either

I think you will learn more about benchrest if you went to a N50 match rather than one of the big events
the N50 guys are the one's shooting every month because they love it ..look up BR events at Open Grove if you are in California

Do they have that 50 yard match anywhere close to west tn. Only thing I've found close to me is a field target match in minor hill tn,which I plan to attend when they have it again. I'd like to attend some bench rest 50 yard matches. ,or any distance long as it's other airguns there. There's not alot of target ranges here in west tn,people have big yards,we shoot 100 yards in our yards, guess that's the reason there's no ranges around.,but there could be and I not know about them.
