105 Yards with my ACZ Dreamline .25

Finally stretched my .25 dreamline out to 105 best group with 25mph winds. I was NOT pleased with my fps at only 815/820, reg set at 125 , shooting 25.4 gr jsb but it was like 20-25 degrees out. I feel the cold slowed it down quite a bit, I also believe that I need to tune the hammer spring and reg as the rifle was originally setup as a .22 shooting 18.13 at 900 fps. I am going to break it down and start from scratch this afternoon and dial it in to around 910-920

I was WAY over compensating and my POA was the very top left corner of that target, where paper met wood, I fought these winds all day and it was truly frustrating as they were not constant but consistent enough to really mess with any 5 shot groups I shot. The flag more or less didn't ever fully drop all day. 

At the end of the day I had a blast and would like to revisit these conditions after tuning my rifle to about 910-920 fps with the same round. For shooting such a light projectile I am in no way displeased with any of the groups yesterday, this just happened to be the best. The others were twice this size.

Also middle picture was zeroing at 50, my shooting partner had to zero in his M77 .270 as I had given him an old scope I had and we needed to get that on paper.

At this range I do not know, first time stretching it out, Ive shot sub 1/2 MOA at shorter distances with no winds.

That’s a beautiful range, and a very nice group at 100 yards in that kind of wind.

Thank you, I am very luck my friend is a member at this rod and gun, it stretches to 250 yards. I have a blast there every time!

I don't know if yours has a power plenum or a Huma pin probe, but those are 2 easy ways to create more power without upping the reg.

My profile avatar is 2 separate 5 shot groups at 80 yards on a completely calm day off a tripod. Thanks for the positive reinforcement!
