10m standing shooting challange -- Ended Dec 03 2018

I'd like to revive winter postal 10m standing shooting matches.

Open to 177 or 22 caliber rifles. Separate targets designed for each caliber.

177 Target

177 Target with black rings for diopter sights

22 Target

Rules:

1. 10 meters away or 33 feet.

2. 177 caliber or 22 caliber only with according target. Any choice of optics.

3. Standing position hands held only.

4. Scoring is 10 points max per target.

5. If you break the line, you get score for highest line broken. Black center is 10 points, -1 point for each line from the center.

6. 40 Shot match. Shoot two printed cards.

7. Post pictures of two targets by end of day December 3'rd to participate in this round.

8. No shooting jacket, no shooting glove.

No shooting jackets, no shooting gloves.

Sylvan, to post a picture click an icon next to smiley face, it has + sign in lower right corner. Once you click it will prompt you to select image and upload it and insert it into the post.

I would like to try to shoot this. Sounds like it will be fun and a challenge.

My main problem will be for me to get the targets printed. My printer is not working but I will get something figured out.

Used two rifles

192/200 Weihrauch HW97K, Swift 20x scope, AA 8.4

198/200 Walther LGU, Sightron 50x scope, AA 8.4

390/400

Domed pellets make a smaller hole than a wadcutter pellet.

I have a few that are actually touching the black 10 when I use a pellet as a scoring gauge.

in europe they are quite common.

im sure i can find a pdf for each pistol and rifle cards to print by yourself.

The reason I did not choose Olympic 10m targets because they have too much black and people that are printing them will use up too much ink.

But I converted 177 target with black rings. so people who want to can use this one.

We shoot those targets indoors at a local club, the rifle target off a bench and the pistol targets off hand with rifles.
