11/7/24 hunt

Got in woods at 9:15 and finished by 10:10, killed 4 greys farthest shot was 54 yds it was sitting on dead log on the ground. I killed the other 3 on a huge oak they were playing ring around the rosey at base of tree, all 3 were this years squirrel so not too smart. Range was 33 yds.
Gun used was BSA R10 SE .22 and 15.89 gr JSB. Scope old Simmons .44 Mag 6.5 x 20 x 44 Duplex reticle set up to dial out to 62 yds.
Fixed it I think.... My phone or computer has decided it no longer wants to let me access my pics to download them so no pictures as of now, if I get it to work again will add them.

The R10 is super accurate but its not a fast moving maneuverable weapon, fairly long and not exactly light not what I would call quick pointing:) But when you put the crosshairs on whatever your shooting at it hits exactly where your aiming.
Probably my 2nd favorite gun to shoot beside my Continuum.
Dean , nice pic of game & gun. I have the problem w/ posting pics , I'm techie poor ! AND , that rifle !! I have one heading my way , should arrive Monday !

You will like it, the bolt slicks up really nice after break in I actually like it just as well as my side levers after I got it broken in. Only thing I dont really care for is the safety on the left side of receiver hard to reach around and flick off and its fairly stiff. They should put it at back of receiver like Daystate has theirs. If you have long fingers likely will not be a issue, while I have fairly big hands they are thick with short fingers and can not reach around receiver.

I'll give it a run & report back. I'm leaning more towards "traditional " airguns than the tactical stuff anymore . Wood is nice & I don't mind the bolt(s).
