125 Yards Texan .510 650 Grain 10 shot group After Air Lapping🤗

This is a ten shot group after shooting and cleaning every 5 rounds with 400 grit diamond polishing paste until in cleaned up well.. This was after 20 rounds of previous slugs fired. While my barrel is not a Krieger or Benchmark, Broughton ,ect. It is much more consistent without a super rough bore with tooling marks. I might need to get a custom sizing die to.511 cast my slugs that are .513 and try that. Previously 3 shots groups were hard to obtain from a perfectly clean bore.

Two more groups at 125 yards. I'm going to try to bed and secure my stock better. I don't know if it will make a difference since it is far away from any sort of barrel contact. I'm trying to get it consistently accurate so I can go to a local bench rest ground hog shoot at 100, 300,500 yards. It is all powder burner s but I'm sure they will let me shoot. I'm not worried about winning any prizes . Just wanna shoot and hangout with some like minded shooters. I might have to get a custom barrel to get on paper at 300 yards and 500 yards. I also have a leftover 3 inch wide laminated bench rest stock that I'm going to modify to fit my Texan. What kinda accuracy is anyone else getting with factory Texan 45 and 50 cals at a 100 yards or so. Any custom barrels groups from Texans ?
