130 yard groups .20 cal.

This evening’s shooting session was at a sheet of rusty steel at 130 yards using my AZ rapid .20 caliber. Almost calm and just a great evening to be shooting.

I’m looking forward to trying this with my RedWolf when it gets back from repairs from shipping damage. I have high hopes that the HP .22 will be more consistent in the wind.

First two groups look very stable for .20 at that great of distance. Last group would of been my best!!

Thanks guys, the little .20 is amazing as long as it’s calm! The last group was as it started to blow a little bit, I shot another group in a breeze but it was huge lol.

Yeah, 130 yards is a long way for that Thoeben .20! Top and (especially) middle groups are v.g.

Those are amazingly good groups, especially considering the caliber and the projectile. That’s a one-of-a-kind rifle. Not bad shooting either…

Thanks guys, I’m so looking forward to getting the RedWolf back from repairs. I could tell how awesome the shot cycle was even though it was clipping pellets. And that trigger was really something! It’s so cool to be able to have a super accurate old school English rifle and soon a modern high tech English rifle too.

Dave, FWIW…

My Safari shoots the Knock Outs very accurately for the N50 50 yard targets, and pretty good at 100 yards for the EBR targets. I have them cruising at 940 FPS on Medium power. I have not tried the NSA 20.2 slugs yet and/or the Howler projectiles.
