I would really like to do some power mods on my Crosman 1322. I don't have the tools or the confidence to install the flat top set up however. Does anybody know if there is somewhere I could send it to have it worked on for a fee? I would love to gain some fpe for squirrel hunting. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Try Baker Airguns or Tim at Mac1 Airguns. I'm contemplating that mod myself but I'm ok with doing the work on my own. You can add a longer barrel for a few more fps too if you don't mind the extra length.

Thanks for the response John. I checked out Mac 1 airguns. I think I may just go ahead and buy one of his custom 1322's. They do offer a power upgrade, but other than the flat top piston it doesn't really specify what else is included with the upgrade. Ideally I would like a flat top valve as well as a max flow bushing and a stronger hammer spring.

Mark2282, honestly, if you have even the slightest inkling of mechanical ability, you can install a flat top piston and valve. On a scale of 1-10 (10 hardest) installing those components with a new spring would rate about a 1.5. There are a ton of resources on the CAPOF forum and YouTube to use as well as this forum. I've owned a dozen or so variants of the family (22XX, 17XX, 13XX, PROD etc.) and they're super simple. If you are just ultimately uncomfortable, I would be willing to do the work for free if you pay shipping both directions and buy the parts. Just an update. I decided against the flat top setup due to apparent wear and tear issues. Instead I'm ordering a stronger hammer spring, a modified transfer port and a 14in barrel. I'm hoping to wring out another 100fps. Thanks to those who shared their knowledge with me.
