1322 Out of windage adjustment

Here's my paper from sighting in my brand new bone stock 1322 yesterday using stock peep sight in carbine configuration at around 16-17 yards.

After using the crude adjustments in the sighting system I have it close to centered but I'm out of windage adjustments. Groups are great put 5 through the same somewhat large hole with the irons is better than I expected just a bit to the right. It's going to irk me if I have to Kentucky windage it to hit the center of the bullseye. Any options to besides adjustments with a 16oz percussion tool to get the sights lined up better?

Absolutely sound advice guys. That’s why the first 2 mods for these guns imo is a steel breech to fix up accuracy real fast and then bulk fill. Regardless of a pesting or target gun a steel breech ain’t as sexy sounding as a power mod but way more helpful imo.

My walmart had these for 32 buck recently and I’m kicking myself in the freaking butt right now for passing them up.

You said you had a "bone stock" 1322? So I assume you still have the plastic OEM breech? If so you won't have any sets screws for the barrel. You can try and adjust the front sight as suggested above. If you still have the plastic breech I'd recommend upgrading to the steel breech for better sight options. For a better peep sight I'd recommend a Williams FP-GR or my personal preference FP-GR-TK (TK for target knobs) or a Williams WGRS-54. The WGRS won't have the target knob option but what's nice about it, nothing hangs over the side of the breech. The steel breech is the best option for mounting scopes or red dots if you ever wanted to do that at some point.

One more thing, if you install a steel breech I'd recommend replacing the roll pin pivot pin with an easier to remove pivot pin when you have the gun apart. Much easier to do mods or repairs later on. Several people sell them on eBay and other websites. Some people make their own as well.

Loosening the breech worked, but not because it was misaligned. Which it was you can look at it form the rear and see the breech was slightly tilted to one side. When I was adjusting the sight I would barely unscrew the screw so there was friction on the rear sight and I could slide it around with more control. The rear sight must not have been flat as the spot I hit where it wouldn't move to the left any more and thought I was out of windage adjustment. Loosening the screw all the way I got way more windage adjustment.

I wouldn't mind a more positive locking breech and better barrel band but just those mods would be a $100. I think I will see if I can sketch something up to 3D print that will help stabilize the barrel. I have some ideas floating around think might work

Yep. Once you start making improvements the 13xx and 22xx pistols can quickly become some of the most expensive inexpensive air guns you can buy. Longer barrels, breeches, sights and optics, new triggers, power adjusters, TKOs or other moderators and adaptors, bling bling hardware, flat top piston and valves, new furniture, bulk fill and HPA conversions, and on and on and on.... Pretty soon your $50 fun gun is $400 - $500+ and your sanity is in question. The addiction can set in hard and fast. Once infected it’s hard to cure.
