But technically that's not target shooting, that would be plinking. "Target shooting" means shooting a paper target. "Plinking" is what you were doing, the name comes from the sound of a the pellet hitting the can

But is not siluet shooting accounted as target shooting too. IMO plinking is not normally done with an air rifle to 150 yards.

You are doing quite well with that rifle! Not sure who is making who look good! Nice plinking, target shooting, or whatever you want to call it.
I believe the name PLINKING came from shooting tin cans (way back when) and the cans would "plink" when you shot them. I believe a sprite can could also be called a target as well! So call your thread what you want!
