N/A 177 compact for rats

I've kinda narrowed it down between two rifles, but I am up for suggestions.
My application is 25y and in with a NV scope. I ordered a Wraith 4k Max to see if I like that. Also tempted by a Oneleaf NV400.
I want a compact design. If it was a bullpup I would want a cylinder not bottle. I shoot from a window and because of the spacing of them, a high design like the Mav Comp. I had was just too tall for the angles.

Right now its between these two:

Brocock Atomic
AGT Vixen

I'm not a fan of the dreamline.

I had a Vixen long in 22 and it was pretty loud, but I am not sure how loud the 177 is. The BRK Atomic with a short 0db on it will be super quiet if that matters to you. I have a ghost 177 carbine and too is super quiet with the short 0db.

Thanks, it will be at night in a suburban neighborhood, so noise is important.

The Atomic XR would be super sweet in your described use. Great handling, small package, with plenty of power for those rats out to 50+ yards. I love mine its an efficient little pesting machine.

ghost carbine
I like it, but I want a cylinder gun or one without a bottle out front. Bullpups with bottles are a pain with my old jalousie windows. I used a Cricket Tactical and a Maverick Compact and could never get a comfortable shooting position. My PP700 is perfect, but I want a multishot. Not a Notos, because I want to stick to 177.

If You have PP700 then maybe Snowpeak P35?

AOA has a .177 Atomic XR on sale, one of the other attributes of this small gun is that you can air it up from a HPA hand pump. And I agree that the cylinder guns are sweeter to handle. Particularly from windows…🙀

P.S. I use to own a pp700sa, killed hundreds of rats with. It served me well, only downside was that it was slow to load a second shot in a high intensity pesting environment. Sold it and got an Atomic XR, the pp700sa while a good gun cannot compare at all. If you get an Atomic you will immediately see the quality difference. And the performance will speak for itself.

Yesterday I was floating the idea of a P15, and P35, but i like the simpler design of the P15. I just read a number of reports that the 177 don't shoot as well as the 22's. I do REALLY like my PP700.
My P35 needed some TLC to shoot very good. Re-crown and deburring air passages and overall rough edges removing here and there.
After that my P35 shoots very good and the OEM regulator is way more consistent compared to my FX Dreamline.
Also modified OEM in-shroud moderator/silencer and now the gun is whisper quiet (FAC model). That shroud mod made it quieter and lowered sound tone. Being a bullpup You can hear more noise from action than from muzzle.

From video you can't really tell the difference (camera mic and sound software auto leveling ruins that effect) but IRL you can.

Not listed as one of your guns but what about a marauder pistol with a stock?

I have heard good things about them.
Short and compact, accurate and with a supressor quiet. Since you are at close range and dont need huge power it might be something to look at.

I seem to remember a few guys on the other forums using them for night rat killing on their farms by the chicken coops.

@Redtick12, was super generous to let me try his. Here it is atop the sweet Atomic I suggested. I recorded a “triple kill” with it.
