I have a Pard NV008S on the way. My back yard is already set up with a large IR flood light. Nowhere to hide.L.Leon is giving good advice. AOA has the plinker package. Then go to Sportsman's Guide and get yourself an AMG Rattler thermal
scope. They make a bunch of affordable inside 100 yard thermals. Now get busy.
Carry on.
I have one of these cameras set up to monitor nighttime activity. I just plug it into a 10000mah portable charger. With the ID flood light I can turn off the internal IR light in the camera, so it lasts a long time between charges. The camera is set to motion and will record and can send me an alert.
I don't shoot the flying squirrels. Unfortunately they disappeared after a neighbor moved in with an outside cat.
