I somehow can’t get slugs to shoot slugs out of a redwolf… I tried in .22 and .25, there must be some magic to it…I remember seeing Steve from AEAC on YouTube do a review of the 177 hp redwolf. Super impressive with slugs but a lot of $$ for a 177.
Hmm…did you see that video ? It is old. Maybe the older RW with older electronics has something to do with it ?I somehow can’t get slugs to shoot slugs out of a redwolf… I tried in .22 and .25, there must be some magic to it…
No I have not. But yeah could be, not sure when they switched them over to the ART barrel but out of those I never found a slug that worked. Have to admit that I didn’t try too hard though given how good they shoot with pellets and what alternatives are there for slugs.Hmm…did you see that video ? It is old. In terms of spread it better be better than this although it's not like the spread is eratic throughout the whole shot string. But 17fps spread was the best I could out of working in the day light.Jace when my gun gets back it better shoot that good or better!! Dang fx!
Nice!10gr atomic pellets. So far a good morning and its not the impact that dealt this blow to the squirrel population. Its the dreamline classic.177

If you're talking to me, I have like 4 tins lol.You need some 10gr mk iii? Seems like I have a couple of tins but they are too loud passing obstacles at a reg setting good for the 16gr and I prefer the 16gr![]()
Yeah but it's too long for my taste and my needs.Yo jace have you checked out the kailbergun cricket snipe 2??
It's the screw underneath the plenum. Based on the picture you sent that doesn't look right though. It looks like the base of the plenum is interfering with adjusting the valve which was not the case for my U2 700mm.Ok ok, getting there I guess, played with the hammer adjuster and backed it waaaay out. Had to carve the bolster or whatever it is inside the stock to fit back in there with the hammer adjuster far out. Strings getting tighter and tighter though and I finally managed to get the chrony to read the H&N 98% of the time.
@JaceSpace1369 when you say “adjust the valve”, do you mean playing with this screw (for which I assume that the valve is behind) - see pic?
Lastly, NSA 15gr .178 arrived. They are veeery tight, a lot of resistance when loading and the go 890fps, so 30 slower than the H&N even though the NSA are 1st lighter… gotta try different lubes and see what happens. Otherwise I’ll have to up the reg I guess and say bye bye for sure to the 10gr mk iii…

Yeah the plenum would be in the way if I would want to adjust the 5mm out beyond flush! But I guess adjusting it in puts more spring on the valve and if anything I want it to close faster?! Pretty sure it’s still waisting air…It's the screw underneath the plenum. Based on the picture you sent that doesn't look right though. Damn you had to carve the back out?
Those spreads are tight!
That's really strange as my U2 700 valve adjuster was not blocked in the slightestYeah the plenum would be in the way if I would want to adjust the 5mm out beyond flush! Definitely had to carve the weird stuff in the back of the stock! Hammer adjuster is more than halfway out now![]()
Damn. If going out closes faster than I really have to figure… will check tomorrow and see how far I can go out (and what happens). That's really strange as my U2 700 valve adjuster was not blocked in the slightest. I believe screwing it in leaves it open for longer, as I had to unscrew mine 3/4 of a turn to tighten up the spread on my U2 700.
Damn, that sounds like a lot of material to carve out.
I'm really wondering how you'd go about adjusting that valve if it's in your way. I wish I would've taken a picture of mine when tuning it before I shipped it out.
