My Taipan v1 compact absolutely hates them . One of the worst I've ever shot complete garbage . I have close to 1000 rounds of that crap .
I would like my money back JSB .

How odd. I also have a first generation Taipan Veteran Compact in 0.177, and it shoots the little Hades great. I use it strictly for pesting in my back yard, all shots are right at 20 yards. At that range the little Veteran hits exactly where I aim.
I think your the first to have any luck with them . That's great
Headshot;
What speed were you shooting the Hades at? My Veteran was shooting very fast out of the box. I turned down the hammer spring to get the Hades at 790 fps. At that speed the accuracy is very good and it shoots forever on a fill. Hope you find a pellet your Veteran likes.
I've never recovered a .177 Hades shot at a live target. At 790 fps and 20 yard range I get complete pass throughs on birds and squirrels.No one with expansion results? On 177 Hades? B.
Hades in 22, 25, and 30 Cals dont expand unless you push them really fast. Way faster than most 177 can produce. Now I have not tried the 117 specifically so dont take my opinion as fact; but I would not expect any expansion from those tiny guys. You might see some slight deformation if the target contact fps is 850+, but it would likely need to be much higher. Lots of ballistic gel testing on the ol youtube now, to compare hunting pellets and speeds.No one with expansion results? On 177 Hades? B.
I concur, I've never had great or good luck shooting the hades out of any caliber except for .25 and .30 the .22 hades just recently proved that wrong out of the GK1. But the hades in .25 I have found that like to fly around 990-1010 out of the AEA barrels the single shot rifles not the semi.Hades in 22, 25, and 30 Cals dont expand unless you push them really fast. I have read many reviews on the new 177 Hades and it appears the head diameter is really small, especially compared to the skirt diameter. Might be an issue causing accuracy problems for people.
