Any users of .177 knocmout slugs getting any good results at velocities below 1000? I'd like to elevate my shot count.. just curious if anybody out there has tried these at lower velocity and had good results... Thanks for any input.

Yup, 900fps I've had great luck out of Fx impact mk3, Mk2, p35x, I believe this is what vetmx shoots and it's in the 840 or 860 range out to 100yds from his U2 compact .177

I have had similar results as @JaceSpace1369 . 850-1000. Really is dependent on the barrel twist and length as for the speed they do best. They open up well at anything over 800fps.

Here's one shot at 880 fps. Recovered from a chest shot on a squirrel at 31 yards . No pass through. The smaller one was from the abdomen. I was wondering about expansion on soft tissue areas. I can't think of a reason for me to push them faster .

I shot these for a little while out of a Daystate Huntsman Classic in the upper 700s/lower 800s. They did ok. I then tried Zan 10gr. and was shooting incredible groups. Still use the Zans in this gun to this day. The squirrels love being fed them.

Got them running in my Krait standard at 950fps and they are pellet on pellet at 30 yards. Been hammering starlings with these and they have an amazing "pop" when they hit the target! They have been decimating the sparrows! The hit is way louder than the Krait with an STO Falx on it shooting the pellets.

I have the Knock Outs and the Zans and many rifles to test them in, I need to get on it, do not think I even cronied any yet LOL

I have used them on ground squirrels as low as 900fps and they work amazing. They are super accurate out of my Gamo Coyote, which is now slinging them right at 1000fps. I will be testing them soon in my Wildcat and Maverick, hoping for some decent accuracy. I have been buying them when on sale, they are excellent pesting ammo.
