.177 over 50fpe possible?? exp mods i need help! Hatsan/Fx/others

Hallo.

So, i live here only cal i can own is a .177 but can own non regulatet models semi or full auto.
Im on the quest to make a hunting airgun whit max fpe potential 50fpe + whitin 20-40 yards shooting from a tree loookout post , not after a 100+ long range shooter.

shot count if i can shoot like 20-30 shots total before decline would me okio for me, more shots great even better.
Alsow i dont need dime grouping or max range, im after power only, but sould be able to hit whitin 20-40 yards just not needed to be 5 shots inside a dime.

I tryed searching the forum but quicky gaveup af the search funtion gives me 100+ pages when i search fpe max

So im new into Pcp so i hope some modders from on here can help me out.
The plan is to buy a stock of the shelf model and mod/tune it to max potential, preferd shooting bigger .177 slugs.

Model i have been looking at are thise.

Hatsan hercules/bully hercules specs

fac setting

250bar 500/1000cc 585mm barrel

Hatsan Factor semi/full auto Facort Specs

fac setting

250 bar 500cc tank 585mm barrel

Hatsan Bull master Semiauto Bull master spec link

fac setting

250 bar 500cc+30cc 500mm barrel

Fx impact  MK II FX impact mk II Specs link

(.177): 290 m/s • 950 ft/s with 8,44 gr pellet fac setting but can be tuned higher

250 bar 500 mm barrel 480cc tank

Fx maverick compact Fx maverick Specs link

250 bar 500mm barrel 300 cc carbon tank

i would love to have semi auto as a min not total required but would be fun and grat to have.

Toughts ???

any redomendation besides thise airguns thanks, i need all the input/help.

im not scared of modding, but preferd just plug and play /tune style mods, like new valves /shot chamber ,hammer ect.

I'm no expert here and I'm sure someone else will be along soon . If I'm doing the math right you would have to have a15 grain slug going an average of 1226 fps to achieve your goals . I could do this with my airforce condor with a 24" barrel and a 22/25 valve . But even at that speed it was as loud as a 22 because if the sonic crack . Nsa is the only one I know of right now making the 15 grain slugs . Now I know there is a guy out in california with the help of doug noble who is making way over that with his Condor I will try to find the link for you . As far as getting another gun to shoot that fast I'm not sure . But I know it can be done with a Condor .

I do not believe that any standard .177 would be able to put out 50 FPE + 💪

I am shooting a Daystate Red Wolf .177 HP and can get 38 FPE with 16 gr pellets and slugs 😃

i found a .177 24Gr slug , look my post above , if it fits the magazine aound 950 fps is enough but idk if any .177 can get it to that speed.
i was looking at daystate but dang they expencive

You won't find any standard .177 that will push a 24 gr slug at 950 FPS 👍

Thats all you need right there. Beautiful gun, accurate, and 38fpe in a .177 is an absolute hammer. Pricey yes but you get what you pay for. Id rather spend 2800$ on a redwolf that 50$ on a hatsan.

If you’re wanting to do it just for the challenge of doing it, by all means go for it. However for your stated purpose of “not after a 100+ long range shooter”, a .177 at that energy level has no particular advantage over one running at 20 – 30fpe. Not only will it cost more, use more air and be louder, heavier and more unwieldy (long), but it will also have poorer odds of being pinpoint accurate due to so few ammo choices heavy enough to remain subsonic.

Also, bear in mind if you were to decide later to back it down to shoot pellets, you would probably need to rebarrel it because the twist rate would be too high. Just some food for thought.

yea its just a challange i wanted to do break 50fpe on a .177, and hunt the odd small size game from my outpost up in my tree near a big field at small range 10-20 yards - im not after a longrange pellet shooter, just wanted to make a slug cannon .177

if i deside to shoot long range targets, ill just get another airgun setup for that.

U write subsonic , if it passes subsonic then what happens to the fpe? bear in mind im pretty new to PcP

Alsow look at this video im pretty sure it can be done , or really close

This.

Mine (neutronstar detuned) is an absolute hammer at. 26fpe even out to 75 yards at the farthest I've tested.

I honestly don't think a 24gr 177 slug going 950fps is going to hit much different from a 12gr at the same speed. Besides having more engery to carry through on a ricochet or something
