Tuning .177 probe tip diameter?

What, in your guys experience, would you say the minimum should be? Right now factory is .118 which is just a little restrictive. .062 work?

I generally use the shank of a 1/16" HSS drill bit for pin probes. So long as it isn't used like a battering ram for oversized slugs or some such abuse, it will last forever.

I was just thinking about that same thing, messing with a pp750 in .177.
