i moved to hawaii.. so no more squirrels for meP35 is almost the same as the bullshark. Both have mid instead of rear cocking. The P35X does too but adds a longer barrel, a wood stock, and a 60cc plenum. If you want a 30-40 fpe 177 I'd get the P35X (or Remington Spirit X) but for a 15-20 fpe gun the P15, P35, or Bullshark will work great. I have a p35-177 and it's killed 20 squirrels for me so far.
Louder(ping) but lighter the p35x is an awesome choice. Shoots 10.03gr v3 jsb slugs at 1030fps out of the box and can be hammer adjusted easily. You get 60shots from a 250b fillgot any remmendations on a .177 pcp platform similar to an akela in performance, size and maybe lighter in weight? noise is secondary. i make my own moderators.
That' pretty much an p35x but in a different bullpup configuration, with no plenum and a bottle right?I have a Snowpeak M60B in .177 that is a real shooter. That's around $600 though.
Gotcha, I didn't know it had a plenum in the frame I thought that was just part of the stock. It is the bottle version with plenum space in the frame. It's has more of an FX Impact look.
that p35x looks pretty good tooHey Jim
My .25 Zelos is at 51/52 Fpe in stock form.
That’s pretty stout …
Jacespace is getting 30 fpe in a .177. That p35x seems more like a Max1 in performance.
@StyleFree is actually making close to 30fpe, mine is making 25-27 ammo depending.Hey Jim

If budget is an issue find a used daystate Huntsman. A Weihrauch HW100 with the long barrel is also a go choice. The denominator for these two brands are they are well made, accurate and you don`t read much about them on AN unless its good gradings. Good choice on caliber. The .177cal is a stinger and with the right pellets/slugs has proved to be a killer on larger game like racoons, small pigs, iguanas and whatever that presents itself. If you can find EUN JIN(Seneca) pellets like the 16, 17 and 19grain pellets and push them into +30 ft/ibs you have a smasher. However the HW100 will do about 23 ft/ibs only. Here I believe the Snowpeak P35 is tunable to reach very high energy levels for a moderate price. Good luck.got any remmendations on a .177 pcp platform similar to an akela in performance, size and maybe lighter in weight? noise is secondary. i make my own moderators.
