If budget is an issue find a used daystate Huntsman. A Weihrauch HW100 with the long barrel is also a go choice. The denominator for these two brands are they are well made, accurate and you don`t read much about them on AN unless its good gradings. Good choice on caliber. The .177cal is a stinger and with the right pellets/slugs has proved to be a killer on larger game like racoons, small pigs, iguanas and whatever that presents itself. If you can find EUN JIN(Seneca) pellets like the 16, 17 and 19grain pellets and push them into +30 ft/ibs you have a smasher. However the HW100 will do about 23 ft/ibs only. Here I believe the Snowpeak P35 is tunable to reach very high energy levels for a moderate price. Good luck.
yeah. i have a .22 and .25 i want a .177 in the sub $600 range

The regulator of my 22 and 25 caliber P35s came set at 135-140 bar. It can't go much higher before the hammer can't open the valve. But the 177 is at around 120 bar. I've turned it down but not up much. I am back to about where I got it. But if you wanted to push heavier pellets or slugs it could. I am sure it could go over 20 fpe but I like it where it is.

I really haven't had time to mess with it too much because of the weather and the holidays. All I can say at this point is that I have it shooting 10.5 gr pellets at 920 fps. Crosman brown box and Barracuda hunters seem to shoot the pest, nickel to dime size groups at 50yds. I had a few Griffin 15.5 gr slugs on hand and they shoot quarter size groups at the same distance at only 780 fps, they show good possibilities. Overall, I like the gun all though I really wanted it in .22, all Wes had in stock at the time was a few .177's so I figured I could always convert it to .22 at some point. All we have had lately is high winds and freezing weather, not good for shooting.

Thank you for your input!

Louder(ping) but lighter the p35x is an awesome choice. Shoots 10.03gr v3 jsb slugs at 1030fps out of the box and can be hammer adjusted easily. You get 60shots from a 250b fill

Are you still using the P35x ? What's the trigger like , how's the build quality and accuracy ?

I'm still using the 10.03gr KO mk3s at 880 fps. I dug this out of a squirrel , chest shot at 31 yards . No pass through and massive internal damage. I'm surprised the picture sheriff gave you a pass . Lol

The trigger is nice, but having owned higher end rifles, it could be improved a bit.

Nope, it's in @Scotay42 hands now. I liked it a lot nonetheless. About 60 shots, 100yd accuracy was seller for a sub $500 .177 gun.

Nicee! Those v3s are amazing!
