.177 slugs from HW97 for 50 yard BR?

I'm wondering if the better bc of a slug might help a 15fpe springer be more accurate for 50 yard benchrest shooting? Any recommendations for brand or weight of pellet? Mine shots best with 10.3 gr heavy pellets at about 825 fps.

For pellets try the heavy AEA or JTS pellets, otherwise I agree with @Scotay42

H&N slug 10 grain.

I run about 14 fpe to 15fpe in my TX200. I tried JSB Knockout 10.?gr and Jan 10gr and 13gr. at 50 yards along with various pellets. For me, at 50 yards the most consistent player were AA 10.3 Field Heavy Pellets. An early batch of 10 gr Zan performed well, however I have never been able to locate another batch that performed as well. So for me, now I am sticking with the AA 10.3 in 4.52 head size.
