Am I a cool kid now?
It was NOT easy.
Setup the 100 yard first; nice trek
Put an old beer can I found nearby on a branch to hold it in place.
Setup the old spinners with some fresh white tape for visibility sake.
And a shotgun hull I found on a twig.
Took the newer black spinners to the usual 50.
Found some more debris for targeting.
A red and a green plastic bottle cap.
The snowpeak; I am still somewhat getting used to(I keep changing the accessories)
She did fine at 50 after I got comfy.
The Lothar.....ooohhhh
What a BEAST!!
50 YARDS WAS PRETTY MUCH NOTHING!
And the shot count
After 75 yards....
Whole new ball game...however in the joy of getting ready to go to the range...I had forgotten to grab the Lothar's preferred pellets
I grabbed my closest option.
Benjamin 10.5g HP
It took some dosing for sure.
But I was able to get some dings in and was able to slay that old beer can
The shotgun hulls stood no chance as well
Stayed out there a good 6 hours just plinking and enjoying the weather
Plenty of pest birds around to try for.
But I opted to wait for a meal.
2 pairs of ECD at different intervals. I made sure to take out the female first bc the males seemed frisky; so I knew they would wait and not fly away for the downed female; thinking it was playing coy. They both did, both times. Got 4
Time to go make dinner!
