1st shots with the crown

Well the brown truck dropped off my .25 grey laminate crown yesterday, got it home, cleaned the barrel, mounted the scope and hit the sack. Got up early and started to get familiar with her, sighted in at 50yrs, like others have noted the 23.95's don't hold a candle to the mk2's at least when breezy. It shoulders great, slender and just a joy to hold, no chrony or shot counts yet, no adjustments. The cocking cycle seems a little gritty compared to my wildcat and bobcat, not bad but not buttery smooth as I had hoped, hopefully it will get better, the trigger adjustment is perfect out of the box, I might shorten the 1st stage a little. My best 100 yrd groups were 2" with the mk2's, 3/4" groups and smaller at 50. Noise wise I was surprised how much it barked with the shroud collapsed but nice and quiet extended. This gun is a keeper for sure

Congrats! When mine came I thought I had a bad gun. My ES over the crony exceed 30FPS at times! the cocking cycle was stiff , trigger was fine (or so I thought) I shot one 100 yard group and quit! 50 yards 1" and less. After 2 tins she started to behave and just got better and better from there. I really enjoyed getting it set up after that. I have it tuned on power level 4 930 FPS with the 25's on 135-138 bar on the reg. On max it spits the KH out at 845 and is accurate at those settings. Yours of course will be different.
Now the cocking is really smooth and I had to adjusted the trigger as the second stage dissapeared. Enjoy the journey! I sure as hell am!
