So I am getting a gopro side shot from eagle vision. They have both verison. One is the 2 bar similar to sideshot and then they also have the clamp on which you twist the ring and it clamp onto the back of the scope. My question is, is there an advantage to one over the other? Just trying get options and advice so I know which one to get and don't cry over not going with the other one.

The two bar style works well, but you have a lot more parts that you need to tweak to get the perfect set up. I can't say anything about the clamp model but it looks very straight forward from the videos I have seen.

The two bar style I heard once it's set up, you just slide it back in or out and the cross hair will be leveled. The clamp on you would need to check and adjust that the cross hair is line up straight every time you take it on and off. As for images quality this is just my opinion since I don't have one to test. But seem clamp on would be better quality since it slides over the back or the scope and no light will get in. Only light gets in is from the front of scope. With the 2 bar style, the mount just butt up against the back of the scope and my concern if light will leak from the gap creating halo effect or something, effecting image quality. But this is just a theory, idk. Also another theory is the clamp on sit behind the end of the scope, it would add weight and shift the scope down causing poi shift? Idk.

If your scope is locked in tight, you shouldn't have any POI shift.
I can definitely see how the clamp would be better in the sense of not relying on light reflected from a prism. I can also see needing a high quality and clear scope to make sure you get as much light transmission as possible into the clamp since you are solely relying on the optic.

The Eagle Vision is more compact and lighter. However, it relies on the twist lock connection so you need different inserts for different size ocular bells. Additionally, if your ocular bell isn’t firmly locked in place it can rotate and throw either your vision or the camera out of focus. I found it a bit more difficult to line up, but it does have more flexibility in adjusting the camera position. The flip side is that it’s more sensitive to being bumped and thrown off.
The Side-shot is more repeatable and sturdy at the expense of being bulkier. Assuming you set the focal length of the ocular bell the same across all your scopes, all you need to do it snug the Side-shot right up against the ocular bell. It should be noted that this device requires space on your scope for the attachment ring.
Both of these devices are high-quality, but I’ve gotten better results using the Side-shot.

Ooops, I didn‘t see the picture. It looks like Eagle Vision copied the Side-shot mounting system.

It may happen other way around
I have seen the eaglevision in about 2020-21 when they came out with the mount first time.I don't have it, I cannot dedicate my gopro to a single purpose only replacing the lens that works flawless with my other sports.
