50, 60, 72, 85, 102 yards. 5 shot groups. HW97 .20 running the JSB 13’s @ 720. Slight right to left breeze.

Now this is real air gun long shooting , A springer to boot ! Shooting 90 FPE with a 40 Grain slug @ 2 or 300 yards does not impress me at all . Might as well use powder . YMMV

Gd shooting...I have a new diana 34 in 22 and I'm actually shocked how accurate it is . Hitting a pan at 100 yds no problem.

That is extremely impressive! Once upon a Time I spent enormous amount of time and effort with a highly tuned Diana 54 shooting at 100 yards usually early in the morning before any wind came up. For anyone that has done something similar seeing your hits at 102 yards is very humbling for me. Well done

I shoot the same rig and ammo, at 75y almost daily. I have my moments, but completely lack consistency. My problems are scope can't, wind, and elevation changes that I don't quite understand. The rifle is still dieseling a little, so once I get past that I will chrono it, and see if the velocities are consistent.
How do you deal with scope cant?
Did you shoot yours over a chrono?

Thanks all for the comments. Believe me, this was an exception, not the norm. The wind was a steady slight push and not the usual swirling gusting up down left right that I usually tend with. Was a perfect day with a very pleasing and unexpected result.

102 yards ain't no joke with an airgun I feel you with the wind. I’ve set flags at 25, 50, 75, and 100 and there were times they were all moving in different directions. I’m not good enough to memorize that sort of variation. As for cant, I have levels on most of my scopes. And they do help. At 75 yards my pellet drops approximately 16” from a 30 yards zero. A slight cant can cause inches of horizontal drift. I put 5 shot over a chrony before shooting any of my rifles. And this one is one of my most consistent. Pretty much a 10fps spread between a 720 or 730 average depending on temperature.

I just got this back from warranty work, so it's a bit like starting over. I had a Vortek kit added and trigger work done, since AoA,s work doesn't affect warranty. Once it settles down I'll get serious with it. I can only hope to get you results.
