Very cool. Took me back about 30 years !
I remember back when I shot firearms arms almost every weekend. One place we went, there was a piece of steel that someone dragged up the hillside. We didn't have anything to judge the distance, but much like the "wait" that these guys had shooting at the balloon, It was fun shooting my little Mod 21 Beretta, .22 (about a 3" barrel length) at the plate.
I could aim, shoot, put the gun down on the tailgate, and STILL count to two or three, before the tiny little "ping", and the dust of the lead scattering of the bullet hitting the plate.
