***$20.00 shooting bench***

Decided to put together a folding portable shooting bench. Had a new set of legs(that was the $20.00) Dug around in the basement came up with a 40x48" piece of 3/4" plywood,(made a smaller table from 1/2" it had to much give even with side braces) a 1x6 for leg brace this take the little bit of wobble font to rear out. A couple pieces of scrap oak 3/4"x2" for along the under sides. Cut out area is 13"x 18" Radius on corners and cut out were marked using a 3 lb coffee can. This is a steady and rugged table, with PLENTY of room on top. A five gallon bucket is the right seat height for me for this shooting table.

Nice...

Why i dont yhrow stuff away or salvage good working parts off things ...

Way back i used the fold up legs off a old ironing board the cloth cover got ragged to do near the same thing.. then how many times id chunk somthing and down the road a project pops up and wish i had threw it on the junk pile cause it would of been perfect for that/ repurpose ..
