Any recommendations for a 20 caliber pcp. Who makes them and any experience with them. Thanks
Thanks , a Regal would be nice & I’ll check with aoa today. I did contact them on a hw100 in 20. Their requirements are half down on the preorder and at least 6 months wait for the rifle. Not much out there now days for new guns to buy in .20.
Airgun Revisions builds a custom Marauder that's regulated. I've been eyeing that one myself!
Not sure if Air Force is still offering .20 either! I bought one of the last Daystate Regals in .20 that came into the states from AoA a few years ago. Maybe call them and see if they have anything laying around. Sometimes they have guns that aren't listed on the website. Another option I almost forgot about is Martin Rutherford at Airguns USA will probably build you a RAW in .20 cal.
It will be used for squirrel hunting and removing pest birds from cattle farms. Don’t need another rifle but I WANT lol.Airforce Talon and Condor in their several variations come in .20
Seems like the .22 Taipan Veteran is perfect for that application! It will be used for squirrel hunting and removing pest birds from cattle farms. Don’t need another rifle but I WANT lol.
You are correct sir lol. Dang it if I could just find one. All kidding aside thanks for selling me yours. It’s a great gun. Now I need to get a mini in 22.Seems like the .22 Taipan Veteran is perfect for that application!![]()
Like a really beefy .177 with a larger surface area. Pretty sweet caliber. I'm surprised more people don't use them.A .20 makes sense in pump and spring but in a PCP? I guess it would be cool.
.20 caliber at 25 fpe and below is nothing short of AWESOME !!!
Personally have been competing in Field target at sub 20 fpe with the .20 cal going on @ 9 years now finding it is by far the most accurate & consistent caliber I've used to date.
Own 3 pcps in the caliber currently ... YES they are that special
*Daystate Airwolf
*Edgun Lelya G1
*RAW TM-1000
Actually, it makes the most sense in pcp... The 13.7s have the highest BC of any offering that is reasonable for sub 20 ft lb service and the 15.89s have the best BC of any offering up to about 35 ft lb... PLUS they just seem to generally be more accurate, or at least as good as my best... Then there are the 18.9 slugs... oh my... they're just wonderful little buggers that will reach out really well but not use a ton of air or cause the rifle to be unpleasant to shoot...A .20 makes sense in pump and spring but in a PCP? I guess it would be cool.
