Sweet setup with the peep sight. I just put a rail sight on mine, finally gave up on the scope. With drooper or adjustable mounts the scope sits too high for me, especially with no comb on the stock. It is much lighter now and more fun to shoot.

100% agree. Its too bad Diana doesn't manufacture the Model 52 anymore, the stock had a comb that made scoped shooting much more comfortable. And the length of pull was slightly larger, which tall guys like me appreciate.

That's the reason that I got a D52, and had to sell my D48, as excellent it was.

That's why I installed a d52 stock on my 48. I installed padded cheek raiser that I bought from Hector. It made it just about perfect. I'm about 6' tall so the extra length of pull helped also.
