Aren't you sastisfied with your AZ tuned Styer? Or is it a just a case of Air Gun crack? ...Just can't get enough!

Completely happy with the Steyr, and do believe it's doable to shoot 250s --and better than 20 Xs with her, in non wind conditions. Also weighing and sorting pellets ---
but always looking for an edge
I'll have lots of questions about the Thomas -

CK, Just got off the phone with Jimmy. He and I were just discussing your addition and laughing . He said you have some Beaumont's and others. So I guess another quality rifle in your stable would be right at home.

Just got off the phone with Mike - ordered one of his rifles.
I've got a shoot coming up at the end of January. He offered to sent me his personal rifle to compete in the event! Tells me that he's only been competing a bit more than a year! Crazy! And his wife scores a 250!!! Says that he can stand away from the rifle,in its bench rest,pull the trigger and hole in hole!!

Congrats CK...what caliber did you go with? .177?
Did you go with the Benchrest version or the FT version, or the complete package that can be easily switched to one style or the other?
Can't wait to see it as well as your success with it ;-)

went with the .177 cal Benchrest - Mike says he's working on interchangeable barrels that simply drop in.
Says .25 cal is next up--
but recomended the .177 cal over he .22 cal for accuracy etc --
told him that I've always been a .22 cal air gun guy-
also he told me that the rifle is essentially a single stage trigger.
Im normally used to 2 stage but will give er a go. Set at 2 oz of break?
Really hoping to get er for the shoot at the end of January

he believes it's just a waste of time!
Guess a guy with so many medals should know what he's talking about --

Ck I assume he puts the polygonal barrel on it. Had a long coonversation about that with him. Said its very pellet specific but when you get the right one it is incredibly accurate. The matches his guns have won this past year prove that. Good luck with it. We want pictures too!!! I just hope I can control the drool......LOL

I do believe so- but his recommendation was to use JSB heavies - suits me just fine - that's the pellet of choice for my Steyr.

I might in the future, but first it is the Styer off to AZ for the mods I asked him for. Then getting it ready for the 2016 Nationals will occupy my time for a while. Keep us posted on your BR results.either here or Facebook...

I've got about 18 yards indoor's- down the hallway -
I normally sight in my night scopes with the hallway set up.

My Daystate Airwolf MCT is zero'd at 50 yards and has it's second zero at about 20. Scope is Mamba Lite 4x16. Pellet is JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13
