My friend Steve is coming by tomorrow so we can get his HPX shooting faster and better for the long range steel stuff he enjoys. He originally bought the gun as a pellet gun but has had more fun with the slugs. We are going to try a few different barrels.
I put out a target stand at 200y and cut another 30 moa into a pic rail to give it 50 moa total. Was previously unable to get enough scope adjustment to reach 200y.
Wind was fairly heavy at 9-10 mph.
I shot 5 5 shot groups in total. The best was .437 MOA, and the worst around 1.14 MOA.
I think if the wind will lay down we can get some really special groups tomorrow.
