Events 2020 July 12 - CAGC FT Match (Lebanon, CT)

Rifle Match – 60 shots – 30 targets – 10 lanes. Average distance approximately 39 yards. Two shots per target – 6 shots per lane. 6 min time limit.

The following AAFTA classes and rules will be used:
PCP – Combined Hunter-Unlimited*, Open, WFTF

Piston – Combined WFTF-Open-Unlimited*, Hunter

*Unlimited Class (attached bipods, tripods, range finders are allowed)

Start anytime from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Practice range and course is open. One person per lane and will record their own score or not if shooting for fun.

Entry fee: $15 Adults, $5 Juniors or CAG members. Exact change or PayPal ([email protected])
Must sign a waiver/release of liability form. Eye protection is required. Use face Covering if you cannot do 6 feet separation. Hand sanitizer will be available.

Highly recommend bringing your own folding chair. PCP shooters - please bring your own air supply.

FYI the last two CAGC matches had the same average distance not the Troyer rating. It has not changed that much.

Is your range friendly for prone of bipod shooting?

Not every target is visible from a prone position. You must shoot it sitting or kneeling instead. Or get a taller bipod. One lane is standing only and one lane is kneeling or standing only. The terrain is not absolutely flat like a rifle range.

I Like the idea of the unlimited class, and be able to use bipod, tripod and rangefinder, that's the only reason I'm coming.

I use to shoot HFT and then PCP open but got tired with rules.

No problem. Use a range finder and an attached bipod. All are welcome. Not a fan of the existing AAFTA hunter class rules. Unlimited class is great for beginners and veterans alike.

Played with holdovers for most of the day on a new scope I installed few days ago , close to what Strelok show.

Truck packed and ready for tomorrow morning, navigation shows 2h drive for me but should be closer to 1.5 h without traffic
