Remarks:
This was our first FT match of 2020. We had to make changes to make it COVID-19 compliant with the state of CT. Face coverings are mandatory when getting closer than 6 feet. We had a flexible start time from 9 am to 3 pm. Most people got there by 9 am. Only one person occupied each lane and scored themselves. The 3-foot-wide lanes were spaced 6 feet apart.

Most finished over an hour shooting the entire course. A few people shot again a second time with a different class and/or rifle.
It was a windy but sunny day. It was a perfect day for shooting except for the wind. Many got the closest and mid-range targets easily, but the farthest targets were the most challenging sometimes requiring inches of hold off into the wind.
Matt Brackett was brave enough to shoot a 6.5 FPE springer and did well under the harsh wind.
We had 10 people start around 9 am and the last person showed up around 1 pm.
After 2:30 pm, we had Chas and Pete help take down the course. We were able to finish cleaning up by 3 pm.

It was great to see everyone and hope to do this match again in several weeks.

Next FT match: TBD 2020 June Sunday

Leo I had a ball at the match. Thanks so much to you and Ron as always for the planning and work. Ron's hospitality is unmatched! It was a lot of fun to begin to learn the FWB300 in a field target setting. I have a lot more tweaking to do, but it's just so darn fun to shoot. I got valuable data on the performance of the TX, too.

Congratulations on your fine shooting!

It was wonderful to see everyone, enjoy the sun and breeze, and shoot stuff :)
