MATCH REPORT
FALLS TWSP. RIFLE AND PISTOL ASSN. FIELD TARGET MATCH

This match had the lowest turnout we have ever had for any Field Target Match at Falls but every cloud has a silver lining, as they say. We probably had some of the nicest weather we have ever had for one of our matches AND we had two new shooters. With the low attendance we were able to spend much more time with the new guys squadding them with very experienced shooters that shoot in the same division. The course itself was different than any before yet maintained the same “flavor” we like to present, 60 shots with a difficulty of 28.2 Troyer and lots of elevated targets. Larry Bowne does most of the work laying out and designing our matches. He figures everything out way before match day and provides a spread sheet for easy set-up. It always amazes me that he can make a course with a moderate Troyer rating so difficult! The scores below seem to indicate that. Overall we had a very relaxing day of shooting on our beautiful wooded course.
